This is an opportunity for you to join CapMan in the role of an Intern as part of the Real Estate team.

About the team

CapMan Real Estate is a Nordic private equity real estate fund manager operating from its offices in Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen and London. We execute value-add and income strategies covering all real estate segments in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. We make great investments by underwriting each deal with case-specific business plans, with prudent fundamental business assumptions and by executing the transactions effectively and efficiently. We are an active real estate owner, and we create value for example by offering high-quality premises for our tenants as well as improving ESG aspects.

CapMan Real Estate is a team of 80 dedicated professionals in the field of investment, asset management and property management and we manage approximately €5.5 billion in real estate assets. CapMan Real Estate currently has several funds specialized in multiple segments actively investing in Nordic real estate.

About the role

As an Intern in the Real Estate team you will participate in various activities relating to real estate investments and your tasks can include e.g.:

• UPDATE ACCORDINGLY!
• Participating in cash flow modeling of new investment opportunities using Excel
• Investment presentation preparation of new investment opportunities or existing assets using PowerPoint
• Preparing fund marketing materials
• Preparing market research in varying subjects
• Assisting in new acquisitions’ due diligence processes
• Tenant analysis
• Preparing asset management plans and leasing market studies
• Assisting in leasing work and property marketing
• Monitoring property performance including leasing activity, rent collections, arrears, and tenant retention
• Case-by-case participation in new interesting business development projects to develop CapMan Real Estate’s business and operations

Our recruitment process

We hire for potential as well as experience. While certain skills and qualifications are important, we believe the ability to grow, adapt, and bring new perspectives matters just as much.
