This is an opportunity for you to join CapMan in the role as Junior Asset Manager as part of the Real Estate team.
About the team
In CapMan Real Estate we execute both value add and stable income-focused investment strategies across all major property sectors in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Our active value-add funds seek to acquire transitional properties in the most liquid Nordic markets where an asset can be enhanced by active rental and cost management, investments in redevelopment, change of use, or repositioning. Our funds and mandates targeting stable income focuses on well-located, high-quality investments that generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for our investors across market cycles. Our Nordic Real Estate operations include approximately 90 committed real estate investment professionals. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and value creation, we have established a solid reputation for delivering exceptional results and are dedicated to driving superior returns for our investors.
About the role
CapMan currently manages ca. 4100 residential units under our Leona homes (https://leonakodit.fi/) brand for living. We focus on offering high quality user experience for our residents in well maintained and operationally excellent buildings and apartments.
As Junior Asset Manager for our residential assets you will:
Manage external property management organization and technical projects.
Coordinate ESG improvements and reporting.
Conduct quality assurance of building maintenance through site inspections.
Complete value-add initiatives.
Optimize building level operational costs.
You will work as part of our residential asset management team and CapMan Real Estate’s asset management organization and cooperate with our portfolio management and investment professionals.
You will succeed in this role by taking ownership of technical projects and site inspections with a keen eye for detail. Success is measured by high-quality reporting, tangible OPEX savings, and your ability to solve various problems arising from day-to-day operations within our assets. You play a key role in ensuring our residential portfolio remains technically sound and visually appealing for our residents.
Who you are
To be successful in this role we believe that:
You hold a degree, or are in the final stages of your studies, in Real Estate Economics, Engineering, or a relevant field.
You have already gained at least couple of years of experienced related to real estate or residential sector.
You possess a solid understanding of property maintenance.
You have genuine interest in integrating ESG themes into the residential sector.
As the role includes site visits, a valid driver´s licence and access to a car are considered an advantage.
An analytical mindset and proficiency in Excel are considered strong assets, as they will help you navigate our portfolio data effectively. As you will be coordinating with various local stakeholders and visiting sites, fluency in both Finnish and English is essential. Preferably, you already have some experience related to property and/or project management. While this role leans towards technical management, experience in commercial property management or residential leasing is also considered a great asset.
Beyond your technical foundation, you are defined by your execution power and a proactive approach to driving projects—from courtyard renovations to cost optimization—all the way to completion. You are deeply quality-oriented, possessing a sharp eye for detail during site visits and taking pride in delivering professional, accurate reporting. Your natural curiosity makes you eager to learn the intricacies of portfolio management while staying consistently updated on the latest trends in the housing market.

Our recruitment process
We hire for potential as well as experience. While certain skills and qualifications are important, we believe the ability to grow, adapt, and bring new perspectives matters just as much. Our recruitment process consists of a combination of screening questions, interviews and reference/background checks.
This is a fixed-term position from May until December 2026, with a potential extension into spring 2027. The role is full time, but exception to 60-100 % working time can be agreed separately.
The position includes a probation period, during which you will be asked to complete a healthcare check, including drug screening conducted by our healthcare provider.
