This is an opportunity for you to join CapMan in the role as Fund management Intern as part of the Fund management team.
About the team
The fund management team is part of CapMan Group’s functions, and we are 20 professionals based in Finland and Luxembourg. The team handles AIFM regulatory control functions, including risk management, compliance and valuation oversight, ensuring that all control processes comply with regulatory standards. Overall, our team’s primary responsibilities encompass various fund administration tasks during the funds’ lifetime such as cash management and investor reporting.
About the role
The key responsibilities include;
assisting with the valuation process by updating valuation models, preparing materials for the valuation committee
supporting the fund management team e.g. by preparing various fund reports for investors and other stakeholders as well as keeping the fund management system up to date.
You will collaborate closely with the Valuation Controller and Fund managers with a variety of fund admin tasks.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in asset valuation and fund management of private equity funds in processes related to CapMan's various investment strategies.

To be successful in this role we believe that you:
Are at the later stage in your Bachelor’s or early Master’s degree (either University of Applied Sciences or academic) in finance, economics or a related field.
You possess strong numerical and analytical abilities and advanced Excel skills.
Approach tasks with initiative, structure and attention to detail.
May have previous experience in related fields, such as finance or accounting (not required but considered an advantage)
Have proficiency in English and Finnish.

Our recruitment process

This is a fixed-term internship position for 12 months starting in January 2027 with adaptable working hours: 2-3 days per week during the academic term, and full-time during the summer. For this position, we will ask to check your credit information.
