This is an opportunity for you to join CapMan in the role as Business Intelligence Intern as part of the Business intelligence team.
About the team
CapMan’s Business Intelligence (BI) team operates at the intersection of IT and business functions. Our mission is to ensure data integrity and timeliness, enabling business owners to perform their roles with minimal manual effort and data processing. In our daily operations, we plan and automate reporting through Excel and Power BI, strategically plan data requirements, develop and maintain our Data Warehouse, and oversee data governance
About the role
Working as an Intern, you will have a great opportunity to gain experience in data management and reporting of a publicly listed company in the private equity field.
You will work with the automation of internal and external reporting within the CapMan Group. Your main tasks will include e.g. developing, automating, and assisting with the reporting of private equity and real estate investment funds. You will also participate in the planning and development of data management and maintenance. You will be part of a four-member Business Intelligence team and report to the team's Senior Manager, but in your role you will also actively co-operate with colleagues in our investment teams in Europe.
Who you are
To be successful in this role we believe that you:
Are at the later stage in your academic career in economics and business administration or equivalent, and you have likely focused on areas of data and analytics, alongside accounting or finance
Have gained previous experience in office work
Possess good command of MS Office programs, especially Excel, and you are familiar with Power BI. An interest or experience in ETL processes and databases is also considered an advantage.
Have strong numerical accuracy along with efficient working habits and time management skills
Approach tasks with initiative, structure and attention to detail
Have a genuine interest in financial management and investment activities
Have proficiency in English (required), knowledge in a Nordic language or German will be considered an advantage

Our recruitment process
We hire for potential as well as experience. While certain skills and qualifications are important, we believe the ability to grow, adapt, and bring new perspectives matters just as much. This is a fixed-term internship position for approx. 10 months starting in February-March 2027 with adaptable working hours: 2-3 days per week during the academic term, and full-time during the summer.
