About the team

In the CapMan Real Estate team we execute both value add and stable income-focused investment strategies across all major property sectors in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Our active value-add funds seek to acquire transitional properties in the most liquid Nordic markets where an asset can be enhanced by active rental and cost management, investments in redevelopment, change of use, or repositioning. Our funds and mandates targeting stable income focuses on well-located, high-quality investments that generate attractive risk-adjusted returns for our investors across market cycles.

Our Nordic Real Estate operations include approximately 80 committed real estate investment professionals. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and value creation, we have established a solid reputation for delivering exceptional results and are dedicated to driving superior returns for our investors.

About the Role

As an Intern in the Real Estate team you will participate in various activities relating to real estate investments and your tasks can include e.g.:

• Participating in cash flow modeling of new investment opportunities using Excel

• Investment presentation preparation of new investment opportunities or existing assets using PowerPoint

• Preparing fund marketing materials

• Preparing market research in varying subjects

• Assisting in new acquisitions’ due diligence processes

• Tenant analysis

• Preparing asset management plans and leasing market studies

• Assisting in leasing work and property marketing

• Monitoring property performance including leasing activity, rent collections, arrears, and tenant retention

• Case-by-case participation in new interesting business development projects to develop CapMan Real Estate’s business and operations

Who you are

To be successful in this role we believe that you:

• are at a later stage of your Bachelor studies or studying for a Master’s degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Real Estate Economics, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Construction Management, Economics, Hospitality or another suitable field of studies

• have a keen interest towards understanding investments, business, and financial markets and you are interested to learn how value is created in real estate.

• Ideally, you have gained experience from Internship positions in, such as, management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, real estate transactions, real estate asset management, fundraising or hotel operations

• have experience from real estate investment industry is also considered as an advantage

• are a commercially oriented, proactive and analytical team-player with good problem-solving and numerical skills

• have the drive for continuous development and eagerness to learn

• are fluent in Finnish. Proficiency in English is a requirement and knowledge in another Nordic language will be considered a plus

Our recruitment process

We hire for potential as well as experience. While certain skills and qualifications are important, we believe the ability to grow, adapt, and bring new perspectives matters just as much. Our recruitment process consists of a combination of screening questions, short online assessments, interviews and case studies.

Internship is a fixed-term full-time contract for preferably c. 5 months. At the moment, we are looking to hire 2 interns for both Spring 2027 and Fall 2027.
